I’m sure you’ve figured out by now that I love a good ruffle so of course I have been so excited to share this top. I’m just not the type to leave anything alone so when I had leftover fabric from a recent project I turned to my favorite hackable shirt pattern – the Union St tee. I created a frilly, ruffly, feminine shirt that is also comfortable and easy to care for. It may seem silly but clothes that are easy to launder are so worth it!
Never Too Much Turquoise
The weather this weekend was absolutely amazing and I couldn’t have been happier to sneak outside for a few minutes to enjoy the sunshine. I am a firm believer that sunlight – and the vitamin D that comes along with it – are essential to happiness. With that in mind and the threat of snow coming later this week, I broke out some shorts while I had the opportunity.
A Teal Scarf To Brighten My Day
I don’t know about you but this weather has really been doing a number on me. We’ve had so much rain lately that I needed a little something extra to lift my mood. Since it doesn’t look like we’re getting any warm, sunny days any time soon I knew I would need another solution. I decided to go wonder the fabric aisle for something bright and color. Well I definitely found it! I grabbed a few yards of this bright knit fabric. This turquoise color makes it a perfect mood lifter!
